Some first ideas

Here are some ideas that we have brainstormed for our final title sequence coursework:


Football idea:

Our first idea was to have a young footballer, who was destined for big things, with amazing skill and natural ability, but the one thing holding him back was his past of when he was attacked. This history held him back both physically and mentally. He couldn't kick a ball the same anymore, and he was mentally scarred by the events. The end of the title sequence ends when he finally rockets a free kick into the top corner. In the title sequence we see his struggle on the pitch, and flash backs of the event that holds him back.

An extension and alternative idea to the flashbacks is that the footballer mugs someone, who was bullying him and accidentally kills him on his way home, as he's extremely poor and has anger problems.

We think our film would be produced and distributed by a film company like film 4, or 'Fierce Productions" a smaller independent film company, as it is not a mainstream film.
